Description
We’re currently seeking a Head of Housekeeping to join our dedicated team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality and has a knack for leading and motivating a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the property’s interior and exterior to the highest standards.
Implement and oversee housekeeping procedures and training.
Manage relationships with vendors to ensure top-tier service.
Play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience.
Oversee inventory management, including supplies, linens, and equipment.
Train and manage the housekeeping staff year-round, adjusting for seasonal needs.
Take initiative in planning, scheduling, and responding to the dynamic needs of the property.
Work evenings and weekends, flexible hours as needed
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working in a hotel setting is preferred.
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
A self-starter with a positive attitude and a sense of humor.
A team player who can also work independently and take direction as needed. Must have prior experience leading teams and effectively delegating.
Physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting up to 100 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
English proficiency is required; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
